Color: Golden brown with pronounced dark brown streaks.
The Tree: Can reach up to 150 feet Tall. Trunk diameters 48-60" over low buttresses. The bark is up to an astonishing 12" thick!
The Grain: Medium to coarse texture. The grain is usually wavy or interlocked. The grain alternates between hard and soft material which creates working difficulties.
